The WildView 8x56 Binoculars are tough and durable and the rubber armour provides additional grip, with a rougher textured pad where the fingers rest. Relatively heavy for binoculars, they really are worth the investment, as the glass used inside them is top grade and therefore chunky. Danubia have taken this into account, when including the neck strap, which is a wide neoprene strap, which is really comfortable to wear. All models come with a hard shell carrying case, which gives lots of protection to the precious optics inside. There is an internal pocket, which the binoculars slip into so they don't move around inside the case and top flap has an internal mesh pocket for any small accessories like a lens pen or cloth. The top part of the zippered case has two Velcro straps either side, so the lid can be positioned anywhere that is convenient for easy access to the binoculars The 5 year Danubia warranty covers manufacturing faults and all the versions are fitted with a tripod socket, so can be attached to a tripod, or window clamp, for hands free viewing and the twist up eyecups are a great help for users who wear glasses.
