This is a really comapct ball and socket head and has been designed with friction control and a panorama scale, so is perfect for landscape shots and extremely accurate positionaing of equipment. It features a 1/4" camera mount and 3/8th inch tripod attachment and has a bubble level, so the horizon is always straight. The quick release plate can be left on the base of the camera for speedy removal and the head can take a respectable 8kg of weight. At 8cm tall and 4cm across, it is really compact, so easy to transport and great as a head for the Dorr Racer Monopods
